Thanks, could you also do it in FH4?
In FH5 you need to join up with a friend via the X-box companion app or whatever it's called - form a convoy which let you play in the same mp environment, see each other in the open world, join co-op races vs the AI or play online in the same race. If that is what you're asking - then yes, this is possible.
There's no real lobby.
Hm.. mmk.
What I want to beable to do-- Ill use another game as an example, say counterstrike 2/go whatever.
Me and my friends join a lobby... then we join a game and we play in that game.
My experience in FH4 is that my friends would join me-- we can say the open world is an extension to a lobby. But starting the race would require me to drive around to a point or something, which feels like a waste of time-- I just want to get into a race
My question is-- is there a menu option that would let me pick a race and then we just load into that race without having to drive somewhere to start that race.
That was my problem with FH4, either it wasnt clear to me or you couldnt do it. All I wanted to do in that game was just start a race, not fiddle around and drive somewhere to start a race.
Basically: Get in game, not drive anywhere > someone joins > they can do whatever > I open a menu > select race > start race > race loads > were racing.
I really enjoyed FH4 for its content for sure. But man, playing with friends was a droll. The last time I played it it was trying to get a multiplayer race going with half of us saying "♥♥♥♥ it" because we just could not go from one race to the next without a 5 minute break between races.
Hm. Alright loppantorkel... I think you convinced me. Gonna ponder on it a bit, drop the kids off by the pool and probably pull the trigger on this one.
thanks for the help.
