why this game take so much to load

it takes so much to launch the game until i can drive the car, prob like 5 mins
and even in races or change car, it take some time
i mean in forza 4 it was so fast, stating the game in 2 mins, change car was instant, no black screen for 5 seconds, do i need to change something in the settings?

Probably a good time to upgrade to SSD .. HDD is nowadays good for storage mostly, it won´t improve FPS but loading & opening for sure

i have all other games on hdd also and they are moving way faster i dont think thats the problem, why this game would be different

if fh4 is faster than fh5 on hdd, do you think fh5 it will be faster on ssd than fh4?

realistically, all games should be on SSD, unless it's like an indie game with no demanding graphics, like ray man or whatever, that doesn't matter,

I use a Memory optimiser software and can remove in excess of 1Gb from FH5 without affecting it, that's why it is slow.

Even on a gen 4 nvme SSD, the game does load a little slower than I personally like, but it is what it is.

I have the same issue. the game loads like 5x slower (at least on a hdd)

It loads a lot of data. I had the same issue as you with similar load times as I had it installed on an HDD; swapped an SSD in and it's very quick now.

Well because this game is definitely larger, compare 62 GB vs 103 GB, and interestingly on FH5, if you look on files, there are archives which is extracted every time making way slower... Everybody recommends SSD well because is like 3 - 4 times faster (it we speak about SATA) or up 50 times (aka ~5GB/s) if we speak about NVMEs...

So try to move / install the game on a SSD and see the results, will be faster i assure you.

i will buy an ssd in 2 weeks anyway, just wonder this game is so slow
