after the recent update, my game keeps crashing whenever i try to load into my game

games been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for couple months after last update played 230 hours no problems now it goes black screen less than a second an crashes ive tried so many *fixes* an low an behold nothing fixed have so many great cars from seasonal an dont wanna restart on gamepass on xbox since i cant get steam account details for xbox account so stupid considering they use xbox login to play on steam

There is a lot of threads of the issue.
if you start the game, and it crashes. search for "eventlogger" in windows. Go to "windwos-logs" and the "program", then search for "fault" on level and "application error" on source.
Once youve found for Forza, check the excemption code it throws, if it is 0xc0000005, then your in the same boat as me.

also i can recommend that you try to do tese trouble shooting steps to see if it makes any difference.

Sign out of your Microsoft account(gamertag) via Xbox game bar, and Microsoft store
Sign into a new Microsoft account(gamertag) or existing Microsoft account via Xbox game bar and Microsoft store. Then search for credential manager in windows, enter "windows credentials" and then remove all the instances that start with "Xbl".
After youve removed them all, try boot the game on steam, you will now need to sign in with again and this time sign in with the new account you signed in to microsoft store and xbox store with.
If that works then there is something wrong with the linking of your main account, now im bashing the support with this but they are super ♥♥♥♥ at responding. but please try and let me know so we can get some action from them
