there, said it. better a made and done game than a game that just nickles and dimes everyone.
lemme recap for you:
Event Lab Island = Get close to 90% and you get crashes every 5 minutes. you better save like a OCD person or your hours of progess into the trash.
Sells Ultimate edition and goes back on their word, changing mid-game their business pratice (No, they do NOT have the right to do so. and NO, nothing you say will change my mind, so don't even waste your time)
Does the game 2 years MTX free to just put it later on, and think no one would notice, not to mention selling it as a "time saver" (does Auction House, and actually playing the game for money to buy the cars ring any bells?!)
Releases another game so poorly that it needs to dip down in their spin off series to get funding to complete something they were 6 years into making (and before anyone here begins defending them: NO. and it is obvious.)
Bothers fixing their Hypersensitive Language filter or even ♥♥♥♥♥♥ some QOL features everyone was asking on the Editor for both car livery and event lab?! Nope... instead starts losing time adding more and more and more cars no one asked, and no one cares: How many more versions of Corvettes does this game needs?! will they add every year the new minimally facelifted model of a car and say: here, now pony up?! instead of going for what people are asking for millenia: more interesting cars that we never seen before (like i dunno, a car from Africa like the Laraki Epitome or Brazil like the Gurgel BR800 for example, instead of the millionth Corvette, or 4th version of the Porsche 356?!), and more starting places where we can start our races?! No?! (and again, don't even start with that. i am aware they added 3 new routes, and NO, it is NOT enough. they could spend their time there).
- the main point i'll raise is that, there was NO option from the start that guaranteed all content. and that is IMO the thing that i cannot swallow. if they gave us the option to buy everything for 500 BRL from the very begining, i would not be complaining at all, because that would be the version of the game i would be buying... and again, they fliped the rules mid-game, which is not ok in my view (specifically the car vouchers).
- The price of the game where i live is 500 BRL. if you convert that may not sound as much. but remember that we recieve in this coin and not on Dollar. imagine paying 500 USD on your game?! yeah, it is how we feel.
- The Ammount of Stuff they promissed while plentifull, it is still disapointing in my opnion. they could've focused on Variety instead of quantity (i'm okay with having a Corvette C1,C2,C3... so on... what i'm not okay, is having the same generation just with a minor facelift, like how it happened with the E-ray and the 2023 that is coming.)
- and lastly, and this is an opnion of mine, for 500, which is almost half a whole month's salary here, they could've included the full game.
Give us from the begining an option for purchasing a version of the game that includes everything you'll launch for the game (and i mean EVERYTHING). i don't care if it costs more than the ultimate costs today. if this option that included all DLCs, all car packs, everything, was available from the start, i guarantee that there would be zero problems whatsoever on that part. and much of the complaints would be dead.
Why not just stop playing the game? Some of us like collecting new cars every week. Just because you are personally not interested anymore doesn't mean other people ought to be deprived of their interests.
Haha, no we can do without the Gurgel BR800, or the Yugo, or the Geo Metro. There were a lot of cheap junk cars made that don't need to be in the game. Your other example is also funny. Only one Laraki Epitome was ever made. I'd rather have real production cars.
Instead of your crappy examples, they are adding interesting cars like the Czinger 21C which has fancy looking 3d printed parts. The free Lucid Air Sapphire is also from a new manufacturer and it's being hyped up as the best performing EV sedan on the track. New cars are mostly EVs these days, so people will complain about that too.
i find it very funny you prefer another corvette than anything else that could use that slot (seriously, how many C8s do we need?! E-ray,2023,Stingray). you want High Performance Cars other than those small "crap" ones?! Okay then.
Hoffstetter Turbo, Alfa Romeo Carabo, Ferrari 512 S BS, Dome Zero, Jiotto Caspita, Mitsuoka Orochi, Ford GT90, Shelby Series 1, Marcos Mantaray, Venturi 400GT, Lister Storm, Maseratti Merak, De tomasso Mangusta, Tesla Roadster, Dallara DW12, Spark SRT05e... i could go on and on...
Lucid Air Sapphire has a production run as of this day of 0 production spec Cars (and the company was accused of being a fraud given how the Lucid Air still didn't hit the market for years), so, your point about the Laraki again?!
Those examples are better. I imagine that it may be impossible to license some of these obscure cars, or maybe the licence holder wants too much money, or maybe they are too rare and Playground can't get a hold of one in order to scan it or to do whatever their process involves.
As for Teslas, I believe those are not in the game because Tesla doesn't have a PR or advertising department for Playground to contact. There was a Tesla in FH3 but back then they had a PR department.
Marcos PR still exists (GT licensed the Mini Marcos not too long ago), De Tomasso PR still exists (GT licensed the Mangusta not too long ago), Ford i guarantee they would lend the GT90 since they gave the much more obscure GT70, Shelby PR still exists (they got the cobra, King Monaco and the Daytona in the game already), Venturi has a PR and competes in Formula E... i think a lot of those can be on the game. maybe not the Hoffstetter without some serious talk from some Brazilians, but all the other cars have a good chance (but tbh, i think they would love to lend one of the survivng examples to put in the game, knowing them how i know)... yeah they could go for it in my view with little to no problem, provided they get the license for the brands.
But you literally bought a live service game and your complaining that its a live service game.
Yes its scummy, yes I hate the fear of missing out on the new cars coming out. The idea of getting burnt out on a game and taking a break should not be punished by missing content that will never come out. Getting into a game late should not be punished by having less access to the content.
But you bought into the game and your complaining that its doing exactly what it was doing from the start? Like. The review section exists my guy, save this stuff for there and get it off the forums lol
