Recent update is unplayable on Steam Deck

Game seems to crash right after the little intro graphic before the start up movies. Anyone else having trouble?

Switching to Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge got me back into the game. It ran better with Proton GE8-16 but whatever at least it's running now. Just go to desktop mode, open steam and in your library have it show tools, then go into the properties of Proton Experimental, go to the beta tab and sign up for the top Bleeding Edge option. It should download about 150mb and the game should work if you switch it to Experimental.

this is a common theme/pattern that happens to a lot of FH5 players. Luckily, I'm one of the fortunate ones where my machine doesn't crash after every update.

Was playing earlier during my break......abruptly closes itself after this update kmt (steamdeck)

Is this my issue:( I literally just had my deck come in today, just installed the game for the first time, won’t launch no matter what. Is it just a matter of waiting for a fix?

More price gouging DLC and an update that breaks the game. At what point to they start paying us to play this game?

Same here on the deck. Pre-ordered Motorsport, had the same problem in early access. The Steam deck isn't exactly new tech, a little support from the developers would be nice.

Same, can't play it now after playing it quite a bit the past week. I imagine today's patch was adding the same thing Forza Motorsport does (I refunded FM after not being able to play it). Someone said it's related to the MS store connection that FM and apparently FH5 now needs.

I haven't been able to play FH5 on my deck since I got it. It's permanently downloading and redownloading an update. It will not finish, it will not let me start the game.
