Wrongly warned for cheating

26/10/23 at 04:00:12 in the morning was when I received a warning for cheating. Please note, I was NOT awake since that was at 4 o'clock in the morning

When I play this game I literally just open wheelspins and play the odd race or two since all I do is just drift around with the 2002 M3 GTR just trying to beat my friends scores on drift zones. That's it.

I'm also playing off my friends PC because I'm away for holidays and have had some free time to play.

Could the IP change cause the anticheat to think I'm cheating?

its not because you are playing in a different computer/ip. did you do any livery modding or something? otherwise I dont know

It may think you are your friend do they cheat? Their version of the game or yours installed?

have you used the forza painter tool? Even though it's completely harmless, forza will ban you for it iirc. Another thing is that someone could have made a screenshot of someone cheating, put your gamertag over their gamertag and reported you and getting you banned (yes, this has happened to people. Sepisp4 made a video on this exact topic)

Not that I'm aware of.
I did originally have the game on Gamepass but I bought it here bc I had to switch to a PS controller since my old controller died (This was also months ago now). I had to use a tool called DS4 to trick the PC into thinking I had a Xbox Contoller but I eventually got annoyed of having to recite the whole nuclear abortion procedure (basically). Maybe somewhere in the old Acc I had a livery that is now classed as "illegal" or something.

I've never heard of a tool like that before. As stated before, I literally get on only for wheelspins and drift racing.

That's what I did, then poof, no online, which means no seasonal exclusives. We probably got nicked for a tobii eye tracker or discord while the bozoes doing 360mphand pulling 6g corners keep going.
