**FIX** Game crashing on start-up, WeMod Overlay WILL CRASH IT!!!

I have an ultrawide, and when I launch the game its all big and bulky, but super bad resolution on startup, then it instantly freezes then crashes. I have a 16:9 monitor and when I made that my main display, I mananged to get it to work ONCE, but then i closed it down to see if I can replicate it and it was crashing after that again.

The crashing seems to be consistent for many people (although not on the Steam Deck oddly enough). Hopefully they will provide a fix soon...

I also have an ultra wide which is the reason for the stretching/ "big and bulky" thing you mention.

IF YOU HAVE WEMOD, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE OPEN, BUT THE OVERLAY WILL FORCE YOUR FH5 TO CRASH. WIN+G AND CHECK IF OVERLAY IS ON. IF SO, CLOSE IT OUT AND TRY AGAIN. IS WORKED FOR ME!!!!!!!!

WeMod is a cheat program, if it makes the game crashing, good riddance.

WeMod is meant for modding SINGLE PLAYER games, and it does not condone multiplayer hacking of ANY kind. You would know that, but when you see "mod" you think cheating, and that is inherently bad because people hack in multiplayer games. But if you mod in borderlands 3, or assassins creed Brotherhood in single player (etc) that makes someone say "good riddance" to even own it? WOW I would hate to know you, you must think everyone is an a**hole if they do something you dont do.

WEMOD is banned from Forza. You cannot have it running, possibly installed.

Yes my game was crashing too. Just make sure you close wemod and make sure it is not still running in the background. Then go to add and remove programs and unistall wemod overlay. Just leave the wemod.exe but make sure it is shutdown before you run ESO and it will work perfectly.
