Game wont start

After yesterday I cant start the game anymore. I have tried everything besides rolling back my GPU drivers. I press play and FH5 starts to load up but then just quits. Not sure what is going on but wanting to see if other people are experiencing the same issue. Should be no reason in why I cant play as I played about 4 days ago.

If you experience mid game crashes to the point where your pc sounds like it is going to take off and all your screens are black. Go to your Nvidia control panel, selected manage 3D settings, check program setting instead of global setting, find Forza Horizon 5, then hit restore.

I was experience some random crashes that resulted in me restarting my PC. Could only do 1 to 2 races before PC blacked out. This fixed it.

If anyone is still having problems, the newest GPU drivers for Nvidia caused problems for me. So I used DDU to completely delete NV drivers, and then reinstalled an old driver (version 528.xx). Haven't a problem since.

Figured out that these issues are mainly caused by programs running in the background.

For me, removing WeMod and Wallpaper Engine seemed to fix all my issues, hope this helps

Been fighting this for months, the final thing to disable was Process Explorer and DS4Windows, both of which I have running almost 24/7.

DS4Windows used to have problems with my windows store install of FH4, but FH4 would tell me that my controller mapper was causing the problem.

For a while I thought that Interception was a red herring, because running /uninstall through cmd.exe always gave 'Error deleting keyboard driver key' , even under Safe Mode.
The fix was adding my command line installer directory to the list on advanced system settings -> environment variables -> system variables. Then the Interception "cmd.exe, /install, /uninstall, reboot" process worked.

I dont know what I did to get it fixed, as ive done almost everything ive found online to get this damn game to run... but i just started the game from the .exe local file (NOT from steam and NOT in admin mode) and it appears to be working so far. Just browse ur local file from steam and double click the shortcut in there. no idea what the issue is, all this headache for one game.

I can also confirm the game does NOT like wemod. The second i just opened the app up, the game shut down haha. cheaters not welcome.

anything remotely related to cheating will end your game immediately. no wemod, no aurora, no nothing.

Same here. For whatever reason the game won't launch anymore. tried everything I found online to no avail. Its the second time this happens to me and I just stop playing Forza. Mayube when I try again in a few months it will launch, just like last time. What a waste of money,

I can tell you what is going on with the FH5 behaviour! Is because issued were never fixed since adding more exclusive cars! On each update for Forza should have ? Is a update patches to erased the most of the issued. Now if I collect gift from the barns ? It'll closed down on me and Validated is already been done. But still unsuccessfully. In my views I thinks it is somewhere down to theirs game engine if Steam Validating can not fixed an corrupted files
