I got 1. version of the game via Gamepass and eventually got *banned* for adding money, unlocking all cars, getting all special cars for free and editing a bit w. the savegame. Nothing much really.
I have F-5 installed on two other maschines, one w. the Hot Wheels update/dlc (I dont think much of it though), and on the third laptop the latest one w. Rally dlc. (that update is cool). Obviously those two versions are 'free', so they anyway are offline-only.
... Yes; be uptight if you will, my dear Gentlemen; but we boomers' like to fiddle around w. the system. If I could get a cracked version of my Tesla Model S (P), I would too ;- )) ... And Elon, that skunk, would probably ban me from my car too, in that case!

Ps. Often with these games - in those versions' - you can use Hamachi to play online anyways. Ofcourse it will be with the ususual suspects like oneself.
show me how to access the Microsoft servers with Hamachi.
I used a screen recording steam program and not get banned like you sayd.
