You can't disable AI in free-roam?

Why? Are the devs stupid or is it intentionally supposed to be annoying?
Why can't I just roam the world casually without a bot rear ending me every minute, or an online player crashing into traffic while invisible.

I see no reason this can't be an option. And no, half assed options are not enough.

Granted, this is a complaint some have. It's not one everyone shares. The open world cars are supposed to be part of the open-world driving experience. And just like rocks or anything else may ruin your skill chain or w/e.

Totally avoidable, though. You can do it. But yeah, I get it. Some want an empty world. It's just not very common for games to do that.

I don't see the need for the negative energy.

I guess I should have clarified I meant Drivatars, not regular traffic. They only spawn in Solo and you can't hide them like you can with online players. They spawn everywhere even in areas with no normal traffic like the hill climbs. So it's impossible to avoid them.

Also you can't just say "supposed to be part of the experience", Everyone wants a different experience and options like the HUD or Drivers assists exist because everyone plays differently.

I personally play for the cars and don't want to break immersion by a Ferrari GTO flying past me and hitting traffic.

It's a valid complain. Solo mode drivatars are insanely bad. They are quite annoying in free roam. Thats why I prefer the ghost town online mode.
