Yet Another Appeal for A VR Version
Absolutely love the Forza Horizon franchise, have enjoyed hours in front of my monitor playing. However, I don't play it much anymore.
Recently we just joined the growing number of gamers who have upgraded to a VR system. After playing a few different VR genres, I don't want to go back to gaming the old way. Since buying the goggles and the other accouterments, I have been ignoring my other games. I think the "handwriting is on the wall" for 2D gaming.
The developers would do well to take advice from an older guy and prepare for the future by brainstorming and crafting a virtual version of their already very fine product.

sorry you feel that way 76561199087523977. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. My wife and I are quite enjoying our HTC system for more than just a simulator of any kind.

vr is a gimmick and insane waste of time and money for anything that isn't a simulator, and i say this as someone who owns the index

Just like Natty said, sorry that you feel that way also.
I have more than 13 thousands hours across multiple VR titles.
Also own 3 VR headsets, including the Valve Index and even full body on top of that.

Forza would be such a great addition to VR so I push a +1 on it.

Not many games supports it but it's pretty niche.
There's a map in VRChat called "Varneon's Udon Vehicles" where you can uses your full body and just uses your feet for the gas, brake and clutch.

Then again, it's not a "great" racing game/map, it lowkey ruins my immersion compared using real pedals and wheels as you do it in the air basically so there's no actual feedback.

For someone that has VR and wheels/pedals/sticks I'd rather recommend playing Assetto with a VR headset. Beautiful experience.

Thanks for the tip. I recently bought a nice Logitech steering wheel/pedal and the stick that goes with it. Didn't think I could use it with a VR system because of the controllers (don't like the controllers that came with the HTC Vive Pro 2, I think I will try the ones for Steams' Index system). Sorry for digressing. Thanks again for the tip

I have a reverb and g29 steering wheel and pedels , and may i suggest there are sum other great games out there offering VR just depends on what your looking for.

and yes sad to say not many people want to have VR but those of us who have takken the plunge there is no turning back to a flat screen.

if you do want VR you could try playing with Vorpx or another 3rd party tool.
down side is it will not be perfect as there is no support.

even ets2 is not perfect so it will be just want you are looking for.

carX online drifting is amazing and great to get that on sale if you got the spare pocket money

You should definitely give a shot with your setup then! I'd recommend Assetto, CarX, Dirt 2.0 and iRacing (I have barely experience on that one though) but it they're pretty good games for VR enthusiast. Especially on Assetto!

But yeah, as for Forza, it would nice to have the option enabled somehow and it could be really feasible really but it would all depend on the devs if they'd like to go that route.

Guys if you want to lobby for VR being added to games, you need to do it in a games pre-/development phase. ie: FMS8 or future games. These posts in post roadmap development phases are pointless. They're not adding VR to FH5.

If it's just as a topic of discussion, I get it.

Hi Phil. It was. Thanks,
