wow. this is actualy the first time i am seeing people not liking the ghosting feature. everyone that i have known who played open races (now including me) hated the feature of not having ghosting

Permament ghosting sounds like good idea, until you actual try it and find out how boring it is. Might as well play Rivals, at least you'll start right away instead of waiting 20 minutes for enough players to start a lobby

i'd rather get bored than get frustrated. the ammount of people who take adventage of it and getting your position in the most awful way possible just kills the meaning for multiplayer races for me

The best is when they purposely hit you right before the checkpoint so you miss it. So much fun. I've always been a huge supporter of everyone ghosted. Majority rules and the guys at PGG don't like it. Bummer

You can see this phenomenon even in so called Hard core sim racers. All you need to do is join a lobby with no SR and damage off.

Only if you can't drive... you can usually catch them up and sail past them as they have no idea how to go around corners.

By the end of lap 1 all the decent drivers will be in top positions regardless, and generally won't ram you if you overtake fairly/ cleanly.

I agree, but only if I play wasd/controller. I'm playing with manual transmission and wheel/pedals for the fun of it and I apparently suck at driving fast lol

I could care less when this happens in PVP cause it's PVP so whatever, but when you are doing the festival and you got the idiots in co-op on your same team intentionally driving like this it gets annoying real fast. And you can't vote to kick the aholes and you can't flag there account to as to not encounter them again in future runs. When it's accidental or just poor driving its one thing but this is not always the case and it is easy to tell in a lot of cases.
