FH5 it's worth it 2023 to buy?

Hey guys fh5 is on a good discount but at this time of year is it worth buying or is the game dead or will it be dead before long?

No, not worth it. After the first like 10 hours the gameplay is just grinding for limited time cars that are available for a week only. If you missed the cars, you gotta pay 20 mil for each limited tme car you missed. In my 430 hours of playtime I earned 330 mil in total. If you buys this game now you'll have to buy more than 100 of those limited time cars.
Not to mention that racing is boring offline because this game has by far the worst ai racers I've seen in any game, while online is always dominated by meta cars + you will constantly have to deal with rammers, because the brain trust at pgg decided to punish the people that get rammed instead of the rammers.

I can absolutely say it's worth buying even in 2024, which is close. I've played the game 785 hours since release and still play without skipping every week. Haven't missed a single one yet.
785 hours in the game since its release is probably relatively low, but I get enough to play 2-3 hours a week.

Because it's cross-platform.
Most players play on
1/ Xbox (with or without gamepass)
2/ PC with Game pass (on windows store / xbox app)
3/ PC Steam


When you see 25K on steam... it's probably 100K to 130K with Xbox, and game pass pc.

FH4 is so much better. It was appearant in 2021 and it is appearant now. FH5 map and lobbies are so dead.

Lobbies isn't dead, but can be pretty empty from time to time. FH4 is way better, but it's endless loading bug killed it for me. If not that bug i wish i didn't buy FH5)

It's extremely generic and as such very boring. The game has zero attitude, it's almost as if it is designed to be as safe, inoffensive and cookie-cutter as possible. FH4 had oodles of charm due to the british scenery and changing seasons. This one has.. lots of cars, which have better sound than in FH4. But it's BORING AF. Why is it so hard to do social things with other players? Why only these canned lines as communication, why can't we type on a keyboard and communicate well and plan fun things with other racers?
