I though...what the heck, lets try it...and...nothing. I couldn't get the game to crash. I turned all the settings up to Ultra, including ray tracing, then drove around a bit, and then took some photos of my car...and everything worked fine.
I don't know, maybe I got lucky and got the perfect version of the game, cuz I have tried just about every method I have found on here to crash the game, or get crappy performance, and nothing does it. :( I'm sorry people are having issues, it sucks, and I'm trying to do what I can to help figure stuff out, I'll keep looking, and if anyone has anything else to try, let me know, and also, if anyone would any info regarding my pc or the game from me to help figure it out, I'm happy to provide. :)
One of the reasons I'm trying to collects as much info about the different crashes as I can.
I'm on an Ryzen5 3600, RX6700xt at 1440p
Just to double check, all your drivers, and windows updates are current?
And with the ray tracing, does it matter what level of RT you select, Low, Medium, High Ultra? or do all the settings for it crash? I only tried mine on Ultra, I'm going to test the other settings now.
Update: I just tried all the different settings (both changing them in game as well as at the Game start screen) and even set all the games settings to Ultra....and no change, could take photos just fine...
This weird, but I'm happy to keep helping however I can.
Turning off RayTracing solved the issue
