Good luck finding the car you need!
If you don't like pickups or offroads, you can rebuild almost any street car into functional offroader.
what is AWD ? i love car games but i understand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing bout anything except tires lmao...
i more or less want a Racer car that looks like one, dont really want a offroad lamborgini... but i dont like the ones without roof or those super big ones.. would like to have something that looks kinda like this ----> https://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=204616
There's also 4WD, Four Wheel Drive, where power is sent to rear axle, but there's device connecting front and rear, which if engaged sends power to front as well. This one is moot point in Forza though, because all 4x4s in game behave like AWDs.
There's also RWD (power goes to rear) and FWD (power goes to front).
Regarding cars, yes, there's quite a selection of both rally, and gymkhana cars. You can also rebuild regular street cars. Which makes sense, because vast majority of rally and rallycross cars are serial production cars rebuilt for racing.
And the tires - you may know them, but Forza Horizon devs don't. If you ever gonna build a rally AND/OR offroad car whose performance rating sits at B class or up, you go with Offroad tires. That's right. The Rally ones, they're great for A class (up to S1 sometimes) but on ROAD. I wish I was making this up but "that's the spirit of Horizon!"
Hopefully the provided list will help you find something for your taste. If you'd like to suggest a car and be potentially heard by the devs, try suggesting on their "Suggestions Hub" subforums https://forums.forza.net/c/suggestions/155
I use tune code 370 252 616

Tune code 158641798

Yeh the full offroad tyres perform far better on tarmac than they have any right to.

You can get the Peugeot free by doing the accolade: Tour for the Eyes Complete the Jungle Expedition
Not sure about the others
"where do i see and type in the codes you provided?"
Head to the garage tab, either from your ‘Home’ or a ‘Festival location’
Click on ‘Upgrades & Tuning’
Click on Find tuning setups - here you can see a bunch of player made tunes
but you can refine the list by class, code etc or..... Select 'search' at the bottom of the
screen
Select the bottom option (‘Share Code’) and enter the code without using spaces
Hit search
Hahah, funny you should say that, yep, My go to S2 rally car is the RS200
