Event Lab: What determines prize money after a race?

One person's custom Goliath race covers two laps, no AI and awards 266K (or is it 226K?) in credits. My own attempt to do the same but in reverse awards only 75K in credits. What am I missing?

There is a limit of 100k in any custom route. Making a reverse Goliath counts as custom route. You can only get the actual prize if you make a blueprint on an in-game track.

As to answering your original question: prize is determined by length of track, number of laps, a.i difficulty and driving assists being used. The place you finish doesn't matter at all, as far as I've seen.

OK, thanks for your reply. So should I understand from the 200K+ that the original 2-lap Goliath I mentioned is an official developer creation? Otherwise the prize could not be so large?
