Games doesn't start just shown the banner then turn off

Hi everyone, i have some problem with the game, its look like after i haven't play in half of the year and when i downloaded, it just showing the banner of the FH5 then turn off not get in the game

Yes ofc, the whole software and drivers are up to date, i try to reinstall it 2 times already, and verify the file thing all but still not fix it

Run it from folder. I have unawaliable Steam overlay but the game works.

I had this issue for months before a refund was finally granted due to nonfunctional product.

Generally speaking it is the DRM check of Forza Horizon 5, that totally sucks.
So the reasons of failure to launch can also be various.

I had this problem a lot (with the MS store version, not the steam version). But a tip that really helped me is to start it multiple times. You can do this in different ways, but the easiest and most succesful way for me is:
- Wait for the second smaller banner after starting.
- Right click on the icon in the task bar, and choose the Forza option, you should see really briefly a second icon in the task bar.
- Wait ten seconds, and right click on the icon and choose Forza again.
- Now you still have to wait 2 minutes, but then for me the game has started every time I did this.

ı tried , also drivers are updated already, integrity of game files are done, checked for winfows security options, also tried several alternative solutions on videos but didn't work at all sadly

I've got the same problem as OP, from what I can tell. I tried a bunch of "fixes", but none of them worked... For example:

) Downloading the newest drivers
) Updating Windows (I run Windows 11)
) Making a local administrator-account
) Launching the game in the files as an administrator
) Checking the integrity of the game-files
) Disabling Windows security options
) Checking if my PC meets the required specs (it does)
) Downloading the newest C++ redist
) No overclocking software
) Reinstalling the game
) ...etc.... I think you get the point.

said to delete "Process Explorer", but IDK what that is and it seems I don't have it on my computer anyway (nothing shows up when I search for it in the Windows "search" function).
Sorry for the long wall of text, but this is really getting to me. I've been at this for 2 days now and it's quite frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought the game a few days ago and have had the same issue. The game actually loaded once, but all other times crashes either at the splash screen or a few seconds into the loading movie.

Well, I luckily don't have the problem anymore, because my game decided to start working:D
I didn't even change anything, but I'm not gonna complain!

Yes, what is confusing is that there is no message to say simply that the problem is not being logged into the microsoft account before it terminates and returns to the desktop.
