Fix your wheel support.
To this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day, it is 100% random whether or not FFB works when I launch the game. Sometimes it works after I restart 3 times, sometimes I need to start the game 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times to get it to recognize what's plugged in. I've played hundreds of racing games and the Forza lineup is literally the only one to ever have this problem (except for NFS just straight-up not having wheel support at all). It's a DAY ONE ISSUE. How the hell is this not fixed yet?

It would probably help if you added some info about what hardware you're using.

I have a Logitech G920 and have had no issues with FFB - it works every time.

Have you updated your drivers? Does your wheel appear in your Wheel's specific settings software? (GHub for Logitech wheels).

I have a Thrustmaster T150 and the only game that ever had problems with it is Forza. With other games it was only user error that caused problems. Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, all the GRIDs, even NFSs that were not supposed to detect it had no problems with it unless the game had outright no wheel support.

All drivers are up to date, and I'd blame myself and the wheel if it would happen in ANY other games. The wheel shows up in the control panel and has the proprietary Thrustmaster T150 FFB settings application running just fine, no problems.

I'm hardly the only one with these problems either, it's plastered all over the forums. FFB not working or suddenly stop working mid-game, etc.

I have issues too with a T300, its a TM issue. I think Playground is aware of it. I might be wrong about this, but it might be an unintended patch bug.

Series 14 update broke FFB specifically on the G920 as well(confirmed at the official Forza forums). Going on almost 4 months now without them fixing it. It's not that FFB is gone, but the whole thing is so out of sync, laggy and with a ridiculous oscillation, which makes it absolutely impossible to drive, unless you turn all FFB and center spring off. They even acknowledged it in their bug list.

I'm am so close risk buying a T248 or a G923 just for the sake of playing this stupid game so I can justify the $110. Because despite all the negatives, the lazy copy-paste, the bugs, inconsistencies, the uninspired trash DLC that I was stupid enough to prepay for, it's still the only good car game out there for me.

I haven't touched this game since Series 14 and I really miss driving my favorite cars around.

Weird. I honestly haven't noticed any FFB issues with FH5 on my G920.

I use T300RS. This issue has happened on and off since the game released and yeah its back now pretty bad. best option is to actually unplug your wheel after the game loads, and then plug it back in. go into control settings and re-apply your custom mappings if needed, since it will put them back on default. sucks, but thats the way it is again.. when they patch this game it's a complete crap shoot as to what they will break.

they need a solid testing pool for feature stability in new patches but they never seem to give a cr@p until after when people complain.

Yeah I tried to do that as that occasionally worked in the past but now it doesn't, it seems to really just be up to complete chance at this point.

Tr300 gt rs and load cell pedals here. Its not the first game that i had to restart to get it working
My issue is the way to sensitive steering. On controller too ;/.
FFB works but isnt like in simulations ^^.

Is there a way to fix sensivity?
