Controller/Possible steering wheel fix

I noticed today that gearing was being unresponsive and the steering wasn't right, now this may require further experimentation but it appears that the Steam auto controller config may be the culprit I have disabled it and the steering is now back to how it should be and the gears are responding on the first press instead of after hammering the button 5 or 6 time.

Now this method may or may not work for all the steering wheel issues I have been seeing on here or reddit.

I will also say that if you are having controller issues on other games this may also fix them as it was the eventual fix I lucked into for the earlier assassin's creed games, disabling the steam auto controller config enabled use of the trigger buttons.
