Have you tried anything else?
The game randomly crashes, no bug reports, nothing, have tried all the BS fixes but to no avail, I want my money back please I paid for a good racing game not frustrating broken mess.
1. fix the game, so that everyone can start it and play it on PC (meeting the benchmark).
FH4 is just running fine on my strong gamer PC, as well as on the steam deck.
Not for FH5 -it only starts and runs on steam deck. tried every possible solution for PC.
2. Map not improved in comparison to FH4:
No preview for the races, which car and which class i will need (i cant find it),
only a "recommended car feature" which is very annoying.
3. loading FH4 designs into FH5 is great -but i tried it about 20 times:
my own design is displayed and saved in the catalogue -
but i just cannot choose and get it on my car...it doesnt work for me...
4. annoying characters:
i cant help, but story & characters are just annoying to me and bad in FH5,
in comparison to FH4 (although i like spanish language)
5. music:
its not bad in FH5, but nothing to the sountrack of FH4, which is really epic in my opinion.
also the radio stations moderators are more symphatic in the previous forza title.
6. wheelspins:
i had 16 super wheelspins in a row and only got 1 legendary car and a few bucks of money, thats just a joke... was more rewarding in FH4 also.
-->Please work on it and make at least some changes to the map view of races and
the "game not starting/ instantly closing bug"
thanks devs for the great FH4, hope you can make FH5 better, than it is now.
Sign out of your Microsoft account(gamertag) via Xbox game bar, and Microsoft store
Sign into a new Microsoft account(gamertag) or existing Microsoft account via Xbox game bar and Microsoft store. Then search for credential manager in windows, enter "windows credentials" and then remove all the instances that start with "Xbl".
After youve removed them all, try boot the game on steam, you will now need to sign in with again and this time sign in with the new account you signed in to microsoft store and xbox store with.
If that works then there is something wrong with the linking of your main account.
Then try doing this:
1: Set Steam to Offline mode (On Steam, click on the STEAM option, then select Go Offline)
2: Disconnect your network connection. (Either remove the network cable or disable wireless depending on your connection type)
3: Exit Steam completely (Open Task Manager to check if Steam is closed)
4: Open File Explorer, and go to the Steam installation location until you find the App ID for your game. (App ID for FH5 is 1551360).
5: Go into that folder, then delete the remote folder, as well as the remotecache.vdf file.
6: Open credential manager in windows, enter "windows credentials" and then remove all the instances that start with "Xbl".
7: Once you're done with everything, you can open Steam back up and launch the game. (Stay disconnected from the network)
8: Attempt to get into gameplay and play through the opening race and first showcase against the plane.
Now i couldnt get anywhere with steam in offline mode and no network connection (this is a printout from the support that made my account work again).
So what i did on step 6 is to disable cloud sync on steam. Then connect to network and go online on steam just as the game boots up.
If this dosnt work let me know
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent issue I have been experiencing with a game I purchased on Steam.
Game : Forza Horizon 5
Purchase Method: Steam Gift
Despite my initial excitement to play this game, I have encountered a significant problem that has prevented me from enjoying it. I have gone through extensive troubleshooting steps in an attempt to resolve the issue, including:
Verifying the game files.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
Building a new system to ensure compatibility.
Unfortunately, none of these efforts have been successful, and I am still unable to start the game. I have spent numerous hours trying to resolve this issue and have only managed to play for a mere 12 minutes, which is an extremely frustrating experience.
Given the significant time and effort I have invested in trying to make the game work, and considering the disappointment and inconvenience this situation has caused me, I would like to request a full refund to my Steam account.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
