Cheaters made me quit

Like most, I put up with it for months but now that I'm at the upper end of the game and really getting into the heads up driving - I'm constantly running into players who have to cheat to win. Apparently this has been happening for a quite some time now and there's nothing been done about it - so i'm taking a different approach. I've uninstalled. Cheers folks!

I'm sorry you feel that way. Yeah, I don't like cheaters either. Yes they are the lowest kind of scum on this earth. They don't want to play by the rules or play fairly or post legitimate results. I'm still enjoying this game even though like you I don't put up with cheating players. I've even seen some ridiculous and impossible results from long jump distances along with the car they used and what class it was in to speed trap and zone speeds that not even I can put up legitimately. Yet Playground Games doesn't want to or bother to fix this and a litany of issues. I at least hope you think of coming back to this game if you change your mind.

The fact the you allowed them to run you off of a game which you have put time into is a shame. However, its your choice and I respect that. I still enjoy playing this game as I am playing it for my enjoyment and I can't let others cheating mess that up for me. As the other member post I do hope you reconsider and come back to the horizon family.

the cheating is ridiculusly over the top in FH5 and i completly understand your aproach, there needs to be more join you to really make an impact to PGG to come down harder on the effort challenged folks who insist on playing multiplayer/open world with no hard work and grinding like the rest of us.

not quite the same thing but have you played project cars 2? looked fab and played great on the deck last time i had it installed,and for fans of arcade style setups you can faff with the options to make it feel arcadey.

sorry your leaving the game as we need more dedicated gamers like you in FH5.

I met idk, probably 3-4 cheaters in almost 1300 hours. Powerbuilds are not cheats, btw.

You are correct. Powerbuilds are not cheating. Driving a legit Class-D car at 300mph is. Going from 0 to 500mph in 1 second is. Launching your fastest vehicle at the perfect launch angle and travelling 2000ft is fine (difficult but fine) doing the same and landing 3 miles away is cheating.

It's cheating galore/overload everywhere in the game. I mean as one of the seasonal challenges during a previous playlist series, I forget which one it was, the players had to launch their cars over 3,000+ ft at the runway danger sign which I thought didn't seem possible. I think I used the Koeniggsegg Jesko with it fully tuned to the S2 class max #998 and it worked and it wasn't even cheating which I found amazing but when I check the leaderboards after passing through either a speed zone, speed trap, or danger sign around Mexico and I see who is #1, I look at the figures closely and I'm thinking, "No way are these records legit or legal." Ugh, oh well what can you think except and this is me "At least mine were legit and legal."

I hear you bro, the developers don't even try to stop them, they do it right out in the open for all to see, and yet they banned me because I had the audacity to actually name a cheater! LOL, I was talking to an asian fellow and he was showed me how much money he makes/takes right out of Forza's pockets by selling people cars for like $6.00 bucks a pop. They cheat to get the forza cash, then buy dozens of every high end car, then sell them online. Apparently it's super popular over in China (probably here also) and people are making a living just on game cash converted to real cash! But hey as long as Forza doesn't mind losing a ton of cash day in and day out while also ticking off their legit clients who spend tons of cash on games and accessories, DLC's etc.

I just met a 'nicer' cheater during roaming, only had infinite grip and a mild but still noticeable boost on accelerations, at least he pretend to be normal that's something commendable by today's standard, I suppose and that was not enough for him to better me at that part of the map for I know the place and shortcuts all too well.

Same here. I consider myself a decent player, and I haven't even come close to winning a single online race. Even at the start, everyone just flys by me, like I'm going in slow motion no matter what car/class I use.

Winning online against randoms is not that difficult so you are doing something wrong. I have played a lot and i rarely see cheaters so this is not the reason you are not winning.

Yeh, open racing is tough... I consider it good If I come 4th or better.

Tour on the other hand seems easier, I come first a lot and almost always podium unless I screw up.

I beat every race in the game on expert difficulty, there are a lot of cheaters online as well. I'm sure you are the best racer in the entire game....
