When you can buy virtually all of the game's very most expensive cars, develop them all with the game's best possible tuning, bring-down the AH for a long time, [and] then take these ripped-off cars to the track to skunk *those people making credits the HONEST way,* you should be banned for a few weeks too. Screw 'em.
Edit to ADD: PG/Turn 10/Microsoft ought do alot more punitive game halting things to all individuals known to be cheating other players who do F.H.5 the right way - the way that the developers clearly intended [it] be done.
I don't know what is going on with competitive online cheating. I play singleplayer to avoid real people. I have participated in less than 20 online races since the day the game launched. ...That many times in Rivals until I saw the people habitually bringing track toys to dirt and cross-country races to skunk my fully developed off-roaders, like buggies, pick-up trucks and giant SUVs.
And I have tried another 10 or so custom made, by fellow users, [in] their track race events. I know that of the 20-something million people who bought this game, there are bound to be the buttholes who think dishonestly winning is more fun that doing things right and perhaps losing fairly. They disobey their conscience in how to treat others in this competitive game.
You do have to really grind to get 10s of millions of credits. I have a few hundred hours invested in buying numerous cars, all across the board, in this game. You don't have to get a lot of the cars to have fun, but if collecting really appeals to you, the game makers have required you race alot, skillfully, to buy them. That's how the game car collection progression is designed/structured.
This computer hack, MADE by hackers and subsequently let loose out of reddit or 4chan, perhaps, gave dishonest lazy people a huge gross advantage. It has caused millions of players to lose all access to selling cars. It stops buyers too that cannot afford some (many, actually) of the super-high sticker priced vehicles in the Autoshow market.
They did sday they will clean the leadferboards tho, I will believe it when I see it.
Why the leaderboards are still filled with impossible times a year after release boggles the mind. I know PG is looking at this (or so they say), but surely it can't be that hard to clean - and also perma ban these accounts.
These hackers have billions of dollars in game credits, but want real $.
They screw up the entire game for everyone unfortunately. (if you want to snipe some of these cars off them, next time you're in the auction house and notice a car that is supposed to go for millions going for thousands, just keep hitting refresh till they drop another one, and be quicker than the guy who paid real $ for it. (i've gotten 5 or 6 20 million dollar cars in a couple of minutes this way. If they are doing 1 customer, chances are they will do several of them a few minutes apart. LOL
Obviously someone from Forza team is benefiting underground from players spending real money for game Cr, which is why they have to protect their business.
Meanwhile race results are all screwed up with in-game race cheaters and they are all ok with it.
Just a nitpick.
No.
Nobody happened upon a commonplace glitch to exploit, was feeling cash poor, and so they just played along with that. This was a malevolent hacker's doing [that] they followed into his still-smoking blown-open central bank safe to empty it themselves of all that was there. A hacker didn't blow by anti-cheat filers you say don't even exist.
What does exist? State of the art anti-cheat software and also very lazy and very greedy fellow players who put conscience aside and go pouring through a hole blown in the game wall by a hacker.
