Crashing after update

As the title says, I haven't been able to play since yesterday's patch. It crashes on the first black loading screen, no error codes, nothing. Event viewer shows error code 0xc0000005.

Tried disabling antivirus, Logitech G Hub and Discord (as those were suggested), running as admin, verified game files, resterted pc etc etc but to no avail. Anyone else having the same issue?

Have you cleaned your PC software like defrag/trim etc?

The error pops up when you launch a program installed on your Windows PC such as Mozilla, VLC, Chrome browser, game, etc. Mostly, re-installation doesn’t help in fixing the issue as it’s caused by some invalid, unsigned, or incomplete DLL files that helps software to run on Windows platform.

How to Fix Error Code 0xc0000005 in Windows Using System File Checker
SFC or System File Checker can help fix Windows system file corruption that might be causing this error. Running SFC scan is easy,

Press Windows key and type cmd
Right-click on ‘Command Prompt’ and choose ‘Run as Administrator’. A command prompt window appears
Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter key
Let the SFC scan to finish (It will automatically detect corrupt system files and will replace them with new from the cache)

I turned my Hot Wheels dlc off and then back on again then it started working. Not sure why it worked for me

These general support steps you find from random blogs are always completely worthless

Hard crash every single time on my end too. My game was running beyond fine before the update. I am completely clueless as to what the problem is. None of the usual solutions worked so far.

Windows Event Viewer shows error code 0xc0000005. Forza's own support articles say to contact Microsoft support if you see that error (not Forza support) so we may be SOL.

I've also seen some people saying that reinstalling Windows fixed it for them but I'm only doing that as an absolute last resort...

Well, I am only hoping that the team is aware of the problem. Others are mostly complaining about performance hits, but not everyone is reporting crashes. If it's a bit of an isolated issue, we might be screwed for real, because a fix might never even come for us.

Bro literally been going insane cause i thought it was just me.... ♥♥♥♥ is aggy as ♥♥♥♥. Like mine at first was just loading the intro and then force quitting itself. I was like okay maybe I need to update my computer which i did twice. and ♥♥♥♥ started to not even LOAD at all. I hope they fix it cause i just wanna drive my 2015 bmw lol

It didn't fix it for me. I've had this same issue on MULTIPLE SYTEMS. They refuse to acknowledge it and we will probably never see this fixed.

It didn't fix it for me. I've had this same issue on MULTIPLE SYTEMS. They refuse to acknowledge it and we will probably never see this fixed.

Welp, time to get a refund. 100€ for 6 hours of game time, what a deal ffs.

Same error here, it makes me nuts (0xc0000005 in event and game insta crach while worldmap is loading). Thought it could be NVIDIA's driver fault so I tried older driver but it did not solve the issue.
