So she and the three I use in 5 are all originally taken from game 4. Playground Games did not make any new drivers or change their accents at all, did they (?) They did make a Mexican accent for 5, for the men and another for the women.
And your driver appears again and again and again and again and again on the stage when showboating with their car for every single race you start up, doing their weird emotes. And on the podium they are pictured again in the clothes you won (or bought). And "You" will see twins of your self clapping for You, or dancing like a fool, or You are seen clapping for the twin, if they'd won 1st place. This is the singleplayer design.
They are indeed all the same Brits who have apparently all moved together from England to Mexico to race there. They know each other I take it.
I don't know about the male racecar characters, but all of the women in 5 seem to be voiced by the same person.
I don't think they remade the same characters to deepen the game.
It's lame to watch and hear for the ten thousandth Forza H. time the same clones moved from game 4 to game 5 with identical British accents no matter their ethnicity.
The woman in game 5 who shows up with your driver to open the barn door whenever someone gifts you a car, or when you make a barnfind in Mexico, is also voiced by the same British woman, and that young woman is quite dark-skinned.
I don't know if a single British voice actor is doing all of the male race car drivers in FH5. I haven't used a male in either 4 or 5. The guys they've drawn all look to me like 25 year old metrosexuals.
Same race cars in both games, I don't care, but the lack of care in the people they give is not a good thing is it. They have been made skinnier and kind of flattened out from head to toe in game 5. They should have just flown-in the very same portrait drawings from game 4.
EDIT TO ADD: Also, the clothes in Mexico look like rags and lack in variety. Why did they do that, I wonder. Because in Mexico the people wear bargain basement clothes I guess. Problem is that a single piece of clothes is again and again and again and again and again the only reward for doing well in several races to level up and spin the casino wheel.
IMO, the drivers have all gone to hell artistically from one game to the next. The only change from game 4 *that is an improvement* are that there are different (within a gender) hair styles and hair colors in game 5. So, better hairs. There you go.
As far as I know, there are only two voice actors for the player character: one male and one female. Changing your character appearance doesn't change their voice. You can see this in the customization screen. There's a section that shows voices, and only these two are present.
The only difference in this department is that you can use the hairstyle of the other characters (of that gender) and change the colour. In H4, the hairstyle was locked to the character. Pretty sure all the selectable hairstyles are just the hairstyles of the other default characters but now copy/pasted onto your model of choice, I don't think there was actually any NEW hairstyles added. But yes, I absolutely agree, the artistic style of the characters in this game aren't great especially since its all the same characters from H4. Why did they feel the need to change up the faces to this new style? They basically copy/pasted most of the cars from the previous game, why did they feel the need to rework the faces of the characters? Seems like a lot of work when the older character models looked fine and better.
Also as Mixolydian said, the voice selection screen only lets you pick between two voices (one for male, one for female) and the preview is the same regardless of model so....yeah.
