AMD Bad Performance FIX

6900xt with 5800x , i have framedoprs all over the place from 133 fps to 33, i move the camera around the car and frame drop like hell. The DLC is gorgios with epic light and reflections but the optimisation is on the ground. Play 15 min and CTD.
They need to fix the optimisation ASP !!!
I see now GPU Util is ranging between 6% and 45% ........... WTF xxxxxx

Today i search on internet and found that if i dezible SAM (smart access memory) from AMD driver , i will not have any problems whit low gpu usage and bad performance. I try and its work's , from 33 fps back to 133- 90 fps on ultra and 4k rez.
This is a fix for AMD GPU , enjoy the hotwheels DLC :D

AMD Problems! Solved!

If you have Problems with your Performance, turn off SAM (smart access memory) in your Driver Settings. Now the Game wil run as it should.

hard to say, i don't have an nvidia card. If you have Resize bar on turn of in your Bios. Maybe it helps

Disabling overlay seems to prevent styartup crash, beyond that I don't know. Game crashes a ton on my end, did not crash before update.

Time to play something else while they fix their crap.

Do I need to disable Re-BAR in BIOS or is it enough to disable CAM in Radeon Software?

Its engouh to turn off in the amd software. This worked for me and the game runs pretty good.

Gotta test that after work, but sadly Forza is one of those titles that get a nice FPS boost with SAM enabled, so I'm still hoping PGG will fix this issue so we can keep it enabled.

I don't have access to SAM (B450 motherboard) and the gfame crashes a ton since update, never crashed before.

This sux seriously.

The SAM fix is mainly for low fps, I'm using a 6800xt and havn't crashed once, the crashing could be on your side

Nop, before the DLC update i play'd with no problems 5 h on a row. Now game random CTD with no error ( i only play the DLC not the main game), but the SAM fix my low performance.

B450 with Bios update don't have SAM? I have B470 plus but with last bios update install
