Hotwheels AI Broken!!!

Doesn't matter if I am tuned all for speed, grip, or acceleration. I am NEVER fast enough for water and jumps. These AI just run through water like it's nothing and now I'm stuck in A Class.

This is more of a rant and I hope nobody buys this until they fix the physics for AI.

I've never said this before, but: Git gud. I had no problem with any of the races. Yes, the AI sometimes cheat, but they can be beaten. Or you could lower the difficulty and download a highly rated tune for your car.

Check my profile. I have achievements showing I can beat games on the hardest difficulty. YOU MUST PLACE FIRST IN HIGHER SKILL DIFFICULTY TO PROCEED IN DLC!!!!!!!!!!! I can beat Forza 7 on Expert. Same with Horizon 3 and 4. There's no reason that I'm struggling.

You can click on each individual class and pin missions. Do everything you can see on the map but also knock off specific challenges you can pin for each class.

Best way to deal with the water? Drive on the sides where there is no water - it's mostly only in the middle. If you have to drive in it, make sure you're using an excellent off-road vehicle with a really good tune.

If it helps, I made it through the hot wheels ranks using hot wheels like Nash, 2Jetz and BTTB. I hear Bone Shaker is good too. Did Twin Mill for a bit on S900 as well that was an interesting one.

Generally the Hot Wheels tracks are all about max speed straight line dashing. On the extreme end something like a Twin Mill which is practically a drag machine can run laps around the AI because it's horsepower is insane. Whereas in Mexico it would probably spin out at corners all the time.

Because people complained about the base game progression. Hotwheels now requires actual progression in order to drive the fastest classes. A good change imho. You not being able to handle highly skilled drivatars isn't a game issue. It's a you problem. If you have trouble with the water sections of the game.. you might have a speed issue.

Get some speed tunes. Get some actual good cars. You didnt even state what cars you use and if you tune them yourself.. play without tuning or using community tunes.

I mean, I speedran HW to X class in like 4 hours.

A tier isn't to bad, just wait until you get to S2, that is when the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starts (hint, use the rimac concept two if you want to win).

I never said I had an issue with being forced to use specific classes to progress.

Only 11.7% even finished the expedition so 2.3 / 11.7 is a 20% completion rate. Not bad when the DLC's less than 2 weeks old.
