Well, I certainly wanted something else too, perhaps something more in the veins of Fortune Island. But I am not too disappointed as long as the content is good.

yeah I saw that. surprised it's hot wheels again tbh.

I can't imagine any environment attached to hot wheels appealing to me, kinda like the lego land was cool to look at, and I thought it fit the kids theme, but wasn't for me.

So in a way it's good for me as I know to let go of FH5 and move on for real. I mean, I already stopped playing. But I kept an eye out. Now I can completely detach. Which isn't a bad thing at this point.

I am not sure why it took so long though. That doesn't add up. Maybe they switched orders of the DLC? Maybe this was supposed to be the second DLC. (i think a lot of us expected a kid friendly second expansion, but not the first one).

But all speculation at this point. Not sure what the other expansion will be. But I think many of us naively wished the delay was because it was a tie-in with something else and they had to get the timing lined up.

Guess not.

PG was one of the last Devs i trusted in not messing up simple thing like knowing what your community wants and delivering a good game... But it seems these days are long gone, now they are just like every other Dev Studio who doesnt give a flying what the player actually want to play... Bought the Ultimate, absolutely regretting it, i never played FH3 with hotwheels but i could not care less about some plastic tracks in a unfinished, buggy mess of a racing game that needs to be restarted every 90min because it gets unplayable with AI thats the biggest garbage aout there rn and bugs for instance with the transmission that have been stright up imported from FH4... This is gonna be my last Horizon game if they keep messing up like this.

Same here really, I'd have preferred a normal map expansion even it it meant teleport to the new map, with new regular street, circuit, cross country etc.

I wonder if they've just ported and polished the hotwheels map from H4...bit of a cop out if it is.

Why the hell would you play this DLC when you HAVE the Hot Wheels game available and pretty much have their own thing, PG is lazy man....

To be honest the hot wheel game controls like crap in my opinion. ity is way more arcadey.

Not that I am happy for another Hot Wheels DLC but if I have to play with Hot Wheels cars I prefer do it in Forza.

Forza Horizon 5 and the series in general has reached the same stagnation we saw with Forza Motorsport 5, 6 and 7. No imagination, no innovation, same recycled cars, more bugs with each release etc. Sad.

Its actually good its Hot Wheels, as most of the tracks will be in the sky so the terrible environment LOD that grows around you, you wouldnt have to look at them

Just hoping they have a decent number of HW cars, F3 had very little and poor selection of cars, and F4 had even less.

Id be shocked and excited for once if they included a few Acceleracers cars.
