Are all the Hot Wheels cars real cars?
I know the Twin Mill is, but after seeing the Hot Wheels Metro, I'm a bit concerned that they're putting in totally fake cars.
Or has that never been a rule that Forza has followed?

Hot Wheels are totally fake cars. Also are you sure that Hot Wheels never made at totally fake Metro? They make countless cars.

I wouldn't be concerned with them putting in totally fake, fake cars. Forza has no rules on this, nor does Hot Wheels.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Stats are completely made up, though. It's the same thing with Warthog, actual performance wouldn't get them out of D class.

At least real-sized replica is required, but I suppose that rule doesn't apply "specials" from other franchises, like Quadra from C2077 in FH4, or those 2 ugly as the sin Final Fantasy cars in FH3/4

Have you seen the tracks they run on?!
But those aren't real. The Hotwheels cars that were already in Forza are real cars that are actually out there in the world. The new ones look a little crazy but it turns out they actually are too so all it well in my book.

Some have been recreated IRL, some are indeed based on reeal cars.

Theres a lkot of fan made ones too that have been made road legal.

The Twin Mill is real? I was diving that in cockpit view & it's pretty much impossible to see the road. I wonder how they manage to drive it in real life.

Right. They are crazy because they are wacky toys, the best ones first made fifty years ago.
Like any toy that is tiny and powered by gravity or a spring-loaded pusher through loop-dee-loops and such, they are not realistic to Forza's real car or concept car from a real company that make up 95% of the game's inventory. The plastic hanging in space track technology has nothing to do with the game you bought.

Playground Games skipped the contractual bargain they made with their first day kind of $100 per customers and made another game that Milestone S.r.l did last year: Hot Wheels Unleashed, which was a game about Mattel Entertainment's (toy co.) 3 inch or smaller kid magic powered racing game played inside your bedroom when you were a child. It's a toy land come to life like LEGOs in the last Forza.

LEGOs Group of Denmark's building block toy land became Playground's/Microsoft's in video form. That was effing absurd. It has no intersection with Forza Horizon either. Long story short, the P.G. devs are giving game 4 and game 5 only ONE true expansion each of their two (they only have two) Horizon games.

But, Hey, the second expansion could be Trackmania Turbo repackaged.

The plastic track Playground games and Milestone games are bringing to life was based, literally, on flexible unsupported orange plastic that you clamped-onto the top rail of your bunk bed.
I'm confused about why you're telling me all of this.

You asked if the Hot Wheels cars coming in the *cof* expanding of Forza Horizon 5 Mexico are totally fake cars and the answer is Yes. And then you seemed confused when I said the damn tracks are, so what do you think the cars will be? The tracks are fake and so is the giant dinosaur that tries to eat your fake car and you, the LEGO boy driver, as it (you) whip past it at 400 mph heading straight up an orange plastic loop that is half a mile high.
How did I come across as confused when I stated that hot wheels tracks aren't real?
And the cars are in fact real and its already been answered in the thread. Cars are real, the tracks aren't, just because one is fake doesn't mean they both are.

You keep arguing about the tracks not being real when you're literally the only person talking about the tracks. You brought them up, I said they're fake, you agreed, and you're still for some reason talking to me about them.

Wot? The tracks are fake, but the cars are real. Wot?!

The only car in FH5 that was 100% fake was the Warthog from the Halo series.

And I say was because Hoonigan made a real life replica of the car. Sure, it doesn't have the same exact rims or accessories, but it's real.
