lamo diablo gtr tuning help
Im trying to tune a Lamborghini diablo gtr to have a max speed of around 288-290 but the tunes i see wont let me see the upgrade setup because the game just removes it anyways when you go into custom tuning. i have tried the other tunes for the speed i want but the car doesnt even hit 260+ before i hit a speed trap and such. Please help

Tune the final ratio for speed and play around with the final gear (i believe gearboxes with more gears have a higher top speed), tune all aero for speed. If those don't get you over 260 then consider an engine swap to something newer which will get you over that speed.

the problem is that i have everything race with a awd. have tried messing with the tuning for everything and nothing is working.

Yes if max speed is your priority you'll have to mess with the gear ratios, as you can simply run out of gears otherwise.
Dunno what the theoretical top speed of the car is though.
Also if you tune it purely for max speed, the longer gear ratios might be to your detriment in other areas, like acceleration in lower gears.

There's a logical workaround for that.

As far as you didn't purchase any parts for that Lambo yourself or didn't use any other tune on it, however, if you did, grab another GTR for the next steps:

Download desired tune.

Get on any drag strip (preferably aerodomo).

Hit full throttle on reverse. Write down top speed you've reached.

Unequip tune.

Re-equip parts. Due to this being the only time you've ever purchased anything for the car, you will have an easy time rebuilding your car by equipping only parts you you own. Don't forget about rims, rim size and superchargers if you will find yourself mismatching PI.

Get back to the drag strip, hit reverse full throttle and adjust your final gear ratio in accordance with speeds reached in downloaded tune.

And viola. Parts and Final Gear Ratio is no secret anymore. Telemetry will help you get tire pressure, camber, toe and caster easily too. The rest of the settings can be discovered using Data Out Telemetry.

You're welcome.

I'd imagine op wants to go 260mph which I would think only an engine swap would get the Diablo to that speed even with a normal gear ratio tune.

well i did buy parts for it so thats gonna be a tough one. the only thing i know is that the tune used a AWD with drag tires. dont know what the other parts were that made the vehicle hit 288mph

I just fully did up the lambo with the v12 race engine and got it to hit 280mph with the stock tune and I believe that's the max the 6spd can do. Can probably go faster with more gears.

No, I was using the race transmission which is 6spd

huh
More gears doesn't mean higher speed. The best gearbox is basically the drift one, faster acceleration (edit : same top speed). You just have to set it the right values and you can hit 289mph on highway and do the airport drag race in less 18s - idk if I still have its best set
