It makes for faster cars overall bnut requires more finesse in the throttle control in curves. That's why better drivers will better take advantage of RWD tunes.
Note that FWD is also pretty strong in this game eventho under utulised. Sticking with AWD is great if you have no intention on actually competing, it works great against AI and makes cars easier to handle.
yeah i find it much easier to use AWD in all circumstances
Im crap at drifting and my corners are lame, need to work on my video game driving skills
oh ive also noticed that RWD have better top speeds in the game.
If you actually want to improve, using RWD cars is a great way to do it.
If you sau so. A simple google search might prove me wrong, or not.
You mean FWD ingame works liek RWD in real life? LOL, good to know.
RWD also doesn't have to slow down as much when entering corners. In many situations I can ignore the driving line and zoom through most yellows and even some reds, just by letting go of the gas for a bit or tapping the brakes a couple times.
That's for road racing. For dirt or off-road AWD is just plain better.
I play AI unbeatable difficulty
itys easy to win when u have a AWD car
however try an RWD or FWD on the same unbeatable mode, its actually quite difficult to win let alone catch up to the leading car....
