Cannot get past sign in with Xbox account.. locked out

Accidentally logged in with the wrong Xbox account after downloading the game (the small window that comes up)

Now it's not letting me switch accounts or sign in for money or love

I've tried EVERYTHING on the forums:
- Disconnected old account from steam
- Signed in and then signed out of old account on Windows Xbox app
- Connected new account on Windows Xbox app
- Re-installed Forza 5 on Steam

Now when I get the little window and try 'sign in with a different account' after signing in with my proper account it just tells me "You must be signed in to an account to play the game"

Anyone have any suggestions i haven't tried already? The goal is to nuke the cache for the old account i accidentally signed in as so i can use the new one

So you bought a digital game and thought u will be able to play on multiple accounts after connecting it together with xbox account. Great idea ngl

ofcourse you cannot swift accounts, rolls eyes. you bought it for one account.
you may try family settings, that works.

Allow me to explain it better.

I already have 30 hours playtime on Xbox Account A. (Through Steam)

I got a new PC, re-installed steam, downloaded Forza, and accidentally logged into Forza using old Xbox account Z which i don't use for gaming.

Now it's stuck on account Z and won't let me switch back to my original account A.

Even deleting Forza and reinstalling it, it tries to put me back into account Z.

I'm basically locked out of my original game and cannot sign in with account A anymore

Only option would be to delete account Z . Then it would have nowhere else to put it but account A perhaps? Just throwing it out there :)

Or just log-off from account Z and log back in with your other account on menu screen, wild I know.

That's literally the bug i'm reporting. As soon as I successfully enter the new login details and the pop-up field closes it just says "You may not proceed without being signed in a profile."

Had the same idea :) deleted Account Z but still not working.

Being locked out for a week now over a broken xbox login, it's infuriating

Well, I would advise contacting PG on their support page. Sometimes it does take a long time for them to get back to you, but it's probably your best shot.
