Convoy features need serious work.

I have no idea why this was designed so badly.

Why is there a timer in place for joining an event that gets started by the host?
Why does the event go on without a player that didn't accept in time?
Why are the other players unable to back out of the event before it actually starts?
Why are you forced out of the convoy when you leave the event?

Presumably you would be playing with friends or people you have a way of communicating with when in a convoy, so why does all of this exist? Can there not be a toggle for it?
The amount of times and time spent having to remake a group and invite people to it(Inviting people isn't even reliable either) because of the above is ridiculous, not to mention straight up disconnects(Which are also common).

How hard is it to just have the convoy feature work like any other game where you start an event with your friends and everybody has to ready up or it wont start instead of all this timer/force start/remake lobby garbage? Its not like there is any matchmaking going on and other people are getting held up.

Yep. Absolutely agree. Ridiculously designed. It's not difficult to add options to control ♥♥♥♥.
