I'm having a hard time understanding what more you expected from it.
i expected jdm
i expected culture
and i got all of that
just so the final boss of drifters is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ electric family car with a big ugly wing on it
never would i have thought anything jdm related to any of those cars especialy not an american family block of rubbish
im just disappointed after all this time forza has been around because i do think that they try their best at the game
but this is completely unreasonable and i hope they see that and fix that up
thats what i hope because im just a dude trying to enjoy a thing that some random people mean to destroy for me
some random people who may have more power more status more job more of whatever it may be
dosnt keep me from hoping for better times tho
World moves on and so should you. JDM has not been a requirement for a drift car and induction engine soon won't be either.
I'm just glad it only had 6 chapters of cringe, that flew by quickly.
its the complete opposite of the car they could've chosen
and jdm is the root of drifting
as long as i played forza there always were older cars telling history and how we got here
theres nothing of history, nothing of culture seen in the drifting "storyline" even tho jdm is such a cool thing at many different aspects
i dont mind advancements
but i do mind advancements if they completely missunderstand the reason of the subject they're in
and drifting isnt about going fast
its about saving time braking in a tight corner
and looking cool (not like an electric walrus on wheels)
That said, I'm pretty sure some people on Playground Games thinks like you, but if Ford paid them to promote the e-Mach Stang (because the dialogue while you drive it is pure promotional corporative text), what they can do?
That said I still have uncompleted stories in FH4 so that was never what sold me on the game.
I don't bother with the drift club in Horizon games. Why? Because their timed, because you're forced to drive what they give you, and because it's not about raking up points like (oh I dunno) NFS Underground 1, 2, Carbon.
To me, Drifting in chapters in Horizon is nothing more than another point A to B time attack with x amount of required points and an annoying time limit attached, and that is why I stay away from them. Tried it once in 4 and immediately exited the event; staying away from it in Horizon 5.
You clearly don't know anything about drift, it is fine that you're uninterested by it but saying "anyone with any car can do it" is pretty dumb.
It is now a real motorsport discipline with competition all around (Formula Drift for example). Safe to say that these pilots are professionals and there is a difference between you pulling an e-brake on a parrking lot with your 60bhp city car and someone drifting with 700+bhp in a car made for it.
Let us know when you'll manage this ingame:

I am not that good at drifting but when i get close to three staring the level and see the timer is at 30 seconds and i have to cover 500yd I panic and stop drifting as much as possible with the cars that are given.
wish there were no time limits or if they wanted time limits make them a lot longer so you can at least enjoy the drifting not rush to the end and drift here and there
should have done them like the drift zones where you can take your time down or up the drift section
turn off traction control and youll get the score fine
There's no denying that there is a motorsport dedicated to it sure, but I'm talking street dude. Don't think that drift is possible without tuning? That's fine, I don't care. It can be done whether you believe that or not.
edit:
Let me ask you this. Do you know how to drift? Do you know what technics are used to drift?, and I'm not just talking about yanking the e-brake.
