Seasonal playground games sorta suck.

They really do, not just in 5 but in 4. Was expecting there to be some changes but doesn't seem like they changed a single thing. They last too long, there is no balancing when people leave, and matches are often just one sided. Been forever since I've felt good finishing a playground game win or lose. The only positive thing they did with was when they changed it in 4 so it didn't matter if you win or lose, though also feel like that's when people stopped trying too.

Why isn't there just a 6v6 3 round pvp mode like the trial but against other players. Surely that'd be more pointful than playground games.

Well yeah. They always have. They shouldn't be forced on people for seasonal objectives either.

Really worst part of the game, I'm rubbish at the games, wish i was better but i just suck, it's just a case of getting it over n done with if you really care about completing everything, heck i ain't got a clue how the eliminator works

Honestly its always been the worst part of the series and the main reason I stopped caring about Seasons.

This week's reward is just super wheelspin, so you're not losing much by not playing, unless you're for some reason short on points.

Between the broken arcade, seasonal playgrounds, eliminator, dailies sometimes containing eliminator, horizon open racing event, and whatever that thing is on the bottom right of the standard season. You're going to have to queue for some sort of multiplayer for the second tier reward, possibly for the first depending on the circumstances. Not to mention the second tier reward for the series requires a fair number of points too.
