Got the same issue (with xbox pass)

Got a 6900xt here no clue if it might be a driver issue / issues with gpu.:steamsad:

you should only get that after big updates or after reinstalling/updating graphics card drivers. If you get that on each start up then yes its not normal.

Exactly, it's generating shaders and only happens after game or video driver updates.

true, on FH4: optimizing settings for your PC would only appear if i have had my drivers updated, now in FH5 it happens randomly and i haven't updated them, they're been kept the same...

did you load the game since the last update? that was the reason for the latest one if you didnt update the gfx card drivers to the latest version.
Optimizing for PC may happen every time:
— Drivers are changed
— Game gets an update
— Player changes graphics settings

yeah, i have my drivers updated to the latest stable and WHQL version, however from times to times FH5 optimizes on loadings...

If you play with some of the graphics settings such as MSAA, it will do the optimize PC settings on next game start up.

It's rebuilding shader cache for faster loading times and better performance. Trust me it's good that they implemented this. It only happens once or if you update drivers.

Is that all its doing? OK, I thought it would reset the setting back to when you first boot up the game but it doesn't. I think 4 did that so I was kind of curious
