Is the Mercedes AMG one worth it ?

They actually proved this on youtube a while back. Race mode mades a difference.

however, you can't turn it off in a race. So it only matters in free roam. But it does matter.

there should be an icon on your screen, if you are in the correct car.

I think it is the same button as the convertibles. Left stick.

Press in the left stick, if you're on controller. That should be the default.
On keyboard, I have absolutely no clue. As Moga said, there should be an icon on the left side of your speedometer.

races always set the car to race mode.

i haven't tested the convertibles. i have a feeling they don't change anything.

Its not the same. The "convertible" system is just another asthetic feature that you can only activate without moving the car, and it resets when you enter any race. Sometimes its the fin in some cars, sometimes is the roof, etc. It doesnt give you any advantaje, its only asthetic.

The other thing is that some cars have another asthetic feature like a fin activating when the car gains speed (what someone called "race" mode for whatever reason..). And deactivates when the car slows down. But thats all it is. Asthetic. It doesnt give you any advantaje at all.

As for the car itself, asides from the mode changes there's not terribly much special about it. Other cars can beat it in both handling and or speed.

It's one of the better supercars in the game. I got it from a Wheelspin, so if you play long enough you might not need to buy it.

Dude, you are imagining things, really lol. RACE MODE or whatever you call it, doest absolutely nothing.. maybe you need to tune your car accordingly, but you know what? whatever :p
