What are Accolade Points used for?

There's a million guides talking about how to unlock Accolades but not one single explanation as to what the points you earn from completing them actually do. So far I've unlocked over 330,000 Accolade Points but I have no idea what those points are, what they represent or what they're used for. Anyone know?

Hall of Fame rankings. Just literally a leaderboard just for accolade points.

They unlock stuff on map, races, stunts etc. Once you unlock everything, they're just for show.

Most of them are useless. Or give you idiotic rewards like car horns, emotes, etc.

Some of them give you cars, probably those are the only accolades that are worthy to complete. The rest... people only do them for collection purposes.

But since it is a big part of the game this time (unlke in FH4), many players are upset, for obvious reasons.

If you are asking if you can "buy" something with those accolade points... no, you cant.

That's actually wrong and why all this ♥♥♥♥ is confusing. The points itself doesn't unlock anything, accolade OBJECTIVES unlock that stuff you said, and unlock accolade POINTS too. But the POINTS itself are useless...

They unlock zones and adventures at the beginning of the game until you reach hall of fame at 200k points i think.
