First race 4 players quit before the 1st lap, I ended in 4th, and one guy last
Second race we ended in 2nd and 3rd, not bad at all
Third race I was scrapping to stay in 3rd, he was last, that wouldn't be enough, and then he made the last sacrifice and quit, that was enough for me to win alone the Trial

So, for you, thank you sir, you were really noble

It's the 2.2m Bugatti that you must use for one of the other events that's irritating me. Nice bar against casual players, that's a lot of cash for them.

Thats what i thought aswell and even if you have the cash, im not willing to put 2,2 Mio in a car that will give me an emote as reward.

Interesting, I had the same story. We lost the first race, but when the parasites came out of the race and it was just the two of us, we just tore the comps on the remaining two races.
That was EZ trial

just did 8 Trails in a row (testing Cars and helping out) Lost 4/ Won 4, last Trail we lost because i was the only one in the lead. Also for info, the first Race has some breaking points you can ignore (the AI is not even slowing down)

The ai seemed pretty consistently bad the few times I've gotten race 3, probably even more so with people face planting them into those pillared walls.

I mean they were very strong in the first race and then they weren't.

It is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's impossible to pass the first car since it just flies off from the beginning, while other times it's easy to pass all of them even when starting from the last position. Two weeks ago the fastest AI each round varied by 10 full seconds or so on the first track, with the fastest being literally unbeatable and the slowest being very relaxed.

No not realy, there are 2 corners that you don't have to break for, but people break and lose distance on AI, The 2nd Race is easy because the Lola they drive is slow, 3th race...well npc and corners

I just can't understand why people quit on the first race? My first try we were down to three people.

Its a bad idea to quit after losing the first race.. Finished and also failed the trial a few times by now and almost always lost race 1. The second and third are much easier to win.

Highlight so far was losing the first race with a full group. Everyone but one person quit and still managed to win race two and three somehow.

Its easier to win if more people quit. Because they won't give points to the AI.

Well, thanks at least for the Jaguar XJ 13 tip, I did find it did much better but alas, I was the only one using one and hence, we lost again. And again. And a few more times*sigh*

The porsche 917 LH is designed to try and actively kill the driver, I swear. Also I noticed the AI is struggling to keep it straight on the road as well so that should also say something about this hunk of hot steaming trash.

The 917 LH is quite similar to the Lola T70, on paper it says it's faster, pretty sure this isn't true. At either rate the aero downforce values are really low on both of them, not sure if it's a bug or not, also possibly one of the reason they feel a bit floaty.

1st race AI won, but teammates in 2nd-4th, won easily. 2nd race team in 1st-5th. Not too bad of a Trial this week. Used the GT40 myself. 2nd in first race, would have won second race if not for missing a checkpoint just barely, lol (still recovered for 5th).

And yeah, people quitting actually makes it easier if you're a decent driver, lol.

Most likely the case. I did notice the AI 917s doing donuts on the hairpin turns, which shouldn't happen at all for Unbeatable.
