NO Fanatec support in a racing game? In 2022? *RANT*

My game crashes on EVERY SINGLE cutscene. There are tons of cutscenes in this game. FH5 and its combatability with current Fanatec drivers is the issue. Rolling back to a two year old Fanatec driver fixes the issue, but then your sim rig is useless in actual sims. Way to go developers. A slow slow slow applause for you. I don't usually post toxic rage stuff, but this pisses me right off. Im the idiot here of course, buying the complete bundle for 100 pounds or what ever it was. NEVER AGAIN.

It's baffling that they would ignore this issue. The majority of players might not use Fanatec gear, but I'm sure the number of Fanatec users is higher than in previous Forza titles, which do work without crashing (at least the Windows version, had to get FH4 refunded on Steam because of the same crashing).

On the Fanatec forums I read that Fanatec is also intending to reach out to the game developers or has already done so.

In the same thread Fanatec said they’ll also see if they can offer a fix on their end, which would be nice.

It sounds like they have already been in contact with PG and have been trying to offer a solution from their end.

I did support tickets on FH4 and FH5 last year as well, but the replies I got were absolutely generic. They say they'll let the devs know and close the ticket as solved.

It is time they fixed it. FH5 is pretty much the only game I've experienced the issue with. I haven't had any crashing in over 15 games on PC and PS5 with my Fanatec equipment.
