The games looks good though so i really hope its not the case this time around!
Yeah i had to spend around 3 hours and watch multiple videos to try to get the settings to work but i had no such luck, then i read on a couple of forums and multiple people said FH4 wasn't even fully wheel supported and was meant for xbox controllers... The fact that one of the biggest racing games didn't have wheel support is just beyond me, but hopefully FH5 has some sort of support for steering wheels.
even playing it with lag on xbots game pass im crashing less kinda
Just play on a gamepad. The Horizon games aren't designed or tested with wheels.
I played FH4 on a full simrig with Fanatec Clubsport wheel and pedals, and my friend beat me, using a keyboard...
I lost pretty much every race. Eventually I gave up and just played with a pad, and hated the fact the game was so much easier to play that way.
I eventually stumbled upon a decent thread somewhere with some dialled in Clubsport settings and it was better, but I could still drive better on the pad.
I really freaking miss the force feedback and feel of the wheel and pedals though.
