1st Race winnable ?

Hello all,

I redid the 1st race vs the 4 bikes half a dozen of times already while lowering difficulty from Average to Tourist but the outcome is always the same. Im a few meters behind the 2nd guy at race finish and still around 100m behind the 1st.

Is this winnable ? Did someone win this ? How can I win this ?

Not entirely sure what to do about getting first, but I can confirm that you can get 1st place

Yes, its a sripted race. The ai on the bikes will always drive far away from you but you can overtake all drivers on the finish line. Just drive normal without crashes and you will win it.

I got first place on the first race with a plane and bikers

Yeah kinda fun, the biker was in front of me but i won nonetheless by .000010 lol

The opening and showcases are pretty much scripted, while it is possible to lose it's designed so the Ai keeps at a certain pace from you either slowing down or speeding up if the difference is too great. But generally it's designed so it'll look like a close race. More or less try not to make mistakes and rewind if you have to.

Driving: Easy

As can be seen, Im a bit behind the 2nd guy and still ~ 100m behind the airplane. The bike guy in his wingsuits breaks but the airplane does not.

I extensively used Rewind dozens of times throughout the entire race to get the most of even 0,001 of seconds but to no avail.

You don't have to beat the bikes. You are scripted to win, and only need to drive to the finish line.

I did not win the race. I placed 2nd (before I Alt + F4'd). This happens always. The 2nd guy breaks while the airplane does not. Im still 100m behind the airplane and same in all difficulties I played.

Just drive better I guess. You just need enough speed at the final straight and it is super easy.

On the final stretch, just floor it. The dude will just open up their parachute at nearly the last possible moment just so they won't become a pack of meat upon landing.

I did it this time. Difficulty does not change anything about this race.

I won on Unbeatable.

Same procedure as every race before but I had Traction Control off. This automatically breaks your car the hard way in odd situations several times on the track for no apparent reason and causes a massive 10+ seconds lap time in cost.

The dude is 2nd and of no interest to me. The airplane has to be overtaken, not the breaking wingsuit guy and its darn hard to overtake it as it does not / break slow down.

It's a scripted race you would literally have to throw on purpose to lose it. Not sure what you're struggling with here.
