Yep. Go to your start menu - right click Forza Horizon 5 - click app settings - click reset - enjoy your restart.

You won't lose any DLC, just any stuff in your inventory. It's safe to reset your progress. I've done it myself in both Horizon 3 and 4.

Nope. Start menu on your PC. You'll see Forza Horizon 5 in that menu, and from there you only need to reset the app.

Actually I forgot a step: When you start the game, it will want to sync you data; don't do that - click cancel and start the game - now close the game and do another restart - the game will give you a choice of which data to sync; cloud or local - sync the local and enjoy a progress reset.

I haven't tried this but wouldn't signing out (button on the main menu) and then signing into a new Microsoft account work?

Tried this from another thread and it worked for me:

go to steam userdata and click on your steam id folder. There should be a folder 1551360 (make a backup of this in case I'm wrong). Delete the folder and launch the game offline and you should be in a new game.

Once you go back online - make sure steam cloud sync is turned on and select the local save data, which will then replace the cloud data and you should be back to the beginning.
