FH5 turns off my PC completely.

Okay. So, let me get this straight. The game is in early access and that is fair however, I've had the same issue with FH4. The game would suddenly turn off my computer completely, not even crash the game. Just turn off my entire system. Now, I've played plenty of games with the same or higher demand than both of these games and I have never experienced something such as turning off my system completely.

I've looked for the same type of issue and no one seems to figure it out with FH4 and, it seems to affect people with same type of similar cards as mine. I really don't want to deal with the same type of issue with FH5.

My Specs
GPU: rx 5700 xt gaming OC
CPU: ryzen 5600x

can just confirm, been playing 1h 30 min , no pc reboots with ray tracing off, was getting reboots after 5-10 min with ray tracing on

I did the fan settings, then played like 40-50 minutes and pc shut down again. Really thinking it's the game itself. So annoying. I gave up. After all that, still blowing the system. This game is mess right now. Thanks for all assist guys.

I don't have ray tracing. Using 5700 xt gpu.

Horizon 5 doesn't use RT outside of vista.

Had the same issue, found a fix. Try setting max FPS in AMD Radeon Software somewhere between 70-90. Prevents everything bad from happening

yup its bugged & filled with glitches on pc atm i can rarely finish a race without the game crashing & YES its the game as disc + the rest of pc works fine after game crashes

This too I can recommend, it did help my crashes a lot longer, but was only a temp solution for me. Playing for an hour would cause the PC to restart.

Not exactly sure why it does this but, it has been occurring for people with rtx cards as well. My girlfriend who has a 3080ti has been having the same issue as well. It seems to only be with the Horizon games.

pc rebooting started again, pc company taking my pc back to look at it, i am blaming the game, but surely a game cant reboot a pc

Man this happened to me twice with this game, Im using a 3090 9700k corsair 850 PSU always monitoring the temps all is good, I play every single game without problems , only did this on forza 5, tried the game today again for about an hour and all went well

also to note the pc company checked my event viewer and it was showing a possible hardware error cpu code i think. i can only blame this on forza, pc works all good on everything else, and is only a month old

What is your psu? Cause it could happen that either the psu is too small power delivery wise and shuts dow because being overdrawn, or could be temps.
