Its unpacked and everything but it keeps crashing as soon as i open the game. Anyone else???

don't have the steam version, but I have gamepass...same issue, is crashing on startup. So far no fix I attempted has worked.

some people have had it work after disabling Nahimic. go to System Configuration, Services, then find nahimic and unclick it hit apply then restart. easy to find if you click the box marked hide all microsoft services

Sadly, disabling nahimic didnt help Maybe its something different, but i disabled almost everything i had running:D

So to conclude:

Seemingly if one stands on their head with one finger ( preferably index ) up their nose and whilst chanting ''oh avast m'lord oh avast' or other ditties such as ' Dippy dippy ditt bob ( with emphasis on the 'bob' ending this game will start.

Then after said game 'starts with immediacy place a minimum of five sheets of tin foil ( cheaper brands works perfectly fine ) on your head shaped into an effigy that resembles the naughty bits of a male. And whilst doing this chant or exclaim '' I am a proper numpty do la la because I bought this game early or on day one do la la''.

Now this last bit is absolutely critical to get the game to play for over 3 minutes before crashing.

Take out your wallet or purse and remove large denominations equalling the cost of this ' game'.

Then place said into a strong fireproof bowl or dish away from furniture and ignite the lot.

Sit back and enjoy if only for a short while whilst watching 100 percent more content than you shall ever see in this 'game'.

Oh so frightfully sorry I forgot the bit were you beat yourself over the head with an old used iron preferably an old Early Victorian English one or an anvil will suffice.

It seems like a win10 bug now... because the same thing is happening in horizon 3, crashes during loading cannot even get to gameplay.

I'll try horizon 4 eventually that one was running fine not long ago, but think it will be the same.

I had crashes just like most of you here. i bought mine on windows store and it crashed right after i got into the game world. The fix for me was to run the game as admin. it worked 100% and no more crashes in over 2 hours. just create a shortcut to the game on your desktop and run it as admin.
