Conrtoller:
Steer left D-pad LEFT - Steer right D-pad RIGHT - Accelerate A - Brake X - Shift up RT - Shift down LT - E-brake RB - Nitrous or Look back LB, pending on the game
Keybaord:
Steer left A - Steer right D - Accelerate UP - Brake DOWN - Shift up W - Shift down S - E-brake SPACE - Nitrous E - Look back Q
Only the newer control schemes use the LT and RT for gas and brake, amongst other controls that I never bothered getting used to. I'm an old school gamer and have been using the D-pad, B gas, Y brake, setup since the NES and had always maintained that setup when switching to the Playstation.
To give even more perspective, when most of the console gamers started buying the Playstation 3 and Xbox of that gen, I switched to PC gaming. Never looked back nor will. I still have a working SNES - PS1 - PS2 and still play games on those consoles.
You play with a keyboard to get just a small taste of what VR offers.
but my point is everyone shall have his/her own oppinion on how they play instead these steam users always attack everyone who play different than they
personaly im no fan of vr racing games but lets be honest how many ppl here play games like GTA V ? most of them playing keyboard + mouse and have a perfect camera view via the mouse
why race games always remove this comfortable controls ? it doesnt make sense to disable mouse camera there will still be alot ppl using it
only bored looking foward and miss all of the world details they put so much effort in because we have no camera freedom doesnt make any sense either
Look left LEFT - Look Right RIGHT
There's also the option of holding right mouse button and panning around. In short, I have everything that I need with the keyboard setup. To each their own; there is no absolute nor correct way to control cars in Horizon nor any racing games.
In fact, one of the main reasons that I switched to keyboard was due to the often forced controls in some of the newer racing games.
Speaking as an adult on the spectrum. Don't go around using people's shortcomings as means to insult others. It's ablest as ♥♥♥♥.
I look forward to racing you in online races on your mechanical keyboard, you ain't winning squat using that control method.
Second, it doesn't matter what keys you've assigned to drive the car, using a keyboard is still inferior to using a controller or a wheel. With a controller or a wheel you have a granular input method that has more than just on or off. Keyboard does not. It's either D is on or it's off.
I own an expensive mechanical keyboard myself (Steelseries Apex 7) and there's no way I'd use it over my Xbox 360 wired controller in Forza.
2) That's an opinion and I disagree, especially since I can run within the same time on a track, regardless of whether I'm using keyboard or controller.
3) If that's what works for you, then great. I'm fine with either.
Forza Horizon 4 doesn't have input lag. it's on you dude. Never heard anyone make that excuse apart from you.
As for you disagreeing about keyboard because "I can run with the same time on a track regardless of whether I'm using a keyboard or controller", I can absolute BS on that one but that wasn't the point. I never mentioned which one was faster, I talked about which one is more precise.
Are you really going to try to argue that keyboard isn't a on or off system? Are you really going to argue that a keyboard is as precise as a granular control method like a controller or a wheel? The A and D keys are as precise as the sticks on a controller or a wheel for turning a car are they?
Nice troll post.
Edit: Watched your Cyberpunk driving video on YouTube with you driving on a keyboard and as soon as you hit traffic you slowed down to a crawl, because a keyboard isn't precise enough to navigate around all those vehicles at speed. On a controller or a wheel that's not an issue.
