Car pass cars

Hey,
is there a performance difference between the standard edition cars and the ones in the car pass? can i unlock cars just by playing?

You cannot get cars from the car pass if you do not have the pass.

the only way to unlock cars in the game is by paying them? there is no free cars? i'm new to Forza horizon never played any

You can unlock any car in the game if you just get Credits from racing you can go to the "Auction market" and all cars will be listed there if people put them on sale 99.9% of the cars will be there for sure same as in FH4

Thank you, i've just read there is approx. 500+ cars in the game , that's more than i need =)

If they are DLC cars and you don't own said dlc you won't be able to buy the car from the auction house though

no problem there is plenty of cars for me to enjoy the game, it's ok =)
i was more worry about the performance of the cars but anyway... i'll have fun that's all that matters.

You have made a completely incorrect reply your best answer.

You cannot buy a car from a car pass with credits, that person is completely wrong, the car will never ever be available in the AH if you do not have the pass to go with it.

Let's not confuse paid DLC cars with bonus cars. Car pass is basically a season pass. You pay so you get any of the paid car packs. These are separate from the game. They are just optional ad-ons. You pay for them individually, by pack or just pay for the pass that will grant you every pack.

Bonus cars are earned every season through special events. If you don't win them, you can eventually buy them with in-game currency from other players. So essentially these are free. Just not easy to get.

And then there's the preorder cars which are cars only given to people who preordered the game. Although there is no other way to get them, you don't really miss anything as these are already existing vanilla cars that have been upgraded.

i'd like to know as well but i think they won't go kind of p2w for an arcade racing game :)
surely some cars are better than others, but if only the paid cars are better well its a problem but anyway it don't really matters for me as i buy it to have fun and not be the best of the best online.
