That said I don't see them offering couch co-op.
We won't get this feature but it would be refreshing if it was eventually offered with this type of game.
Sadly the days of LAN parties and people meeting up with mates with a controller to play together in the same room are gone. Its all 1 xbox per person, online. So its not worth anyones time to implement. Especially on PC. Sadly.
I must be in the minority I guess as I have gaming parties 4/5 mates over every week (*when permitted) and get stuck into all the multiplayer games that I have on PC.
The only time I ever play online is FIFA or Red Alert as I cannot dedicate the time to become competitively good with my other games as I have over 400 and it's no fun constantly losing!
This year with mates over we have to play pass the pad or one of the handful of games that support it.
Cant play FIFA, get told I'm a button smasher.
Even on PS4/5 you need another account that pays for online, even if your are the guest of their system. Sucks!

Mever tried them so I can't say how good they work.
PiP also works well with TVs that support it. Glasswire works but is a pain.
EDIT but either way with this it will require 2 Xbox accounts and 2 services. So 2 systems really. EDIT EDIT unless you can emulate the xbox API like SteamEMU.
