They won't "sort it out eventually", why would they do that when a dev has been on this thread not once but twice to say the Steam version doesn't get the car?
Just saying it to yourself over and over doesn't make something suddenly happen, there are very technical reasons why the car isn't available on the Steam version.
The code doesn't work on the Steam version and no amount of complaining is going to change that.
The Steam version of Forza Horizon 5 is different to the Microsoft Store and Xbox console versions, they have different inventories.
It's the same reason why there's no cross progression between the Microsoft Store/Xbox console version and the Steam version.
The controller was never designed with PCs in mind, it's an Xbox console controller, it's just compatible with PC which is not the same as being designed FOR PC.
Just like there used to be 2 different Xbox 360 controllers, one that was made for Xbox 360 and couldn't connect to PC natively and then another Xbox 360 controller that was specifically designed for PC that was wired and came with a driver disc. I used to own the PC version of that controller.
i'm not sure what car that is? is it one of the custom cars that is technically a ford but rebuilt by a different company so it sits under a different manufacturer?
