2060 6gb, 3700x is enough right?
So i have a rtx 2060 6gb and a ryzen 3700x, 16 gb and maybe until the release i will have 32, i guess that is enough for good fps and some graphics, right?

No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chance, max 29fps at 720p!

I mean, your setup is way over the minimum requirements and also way over the Forza Horizon 4 requirements. But with you high end setup you have no chance to play this game.
Skyzo Sep 21, 2021 @ 12:36pm
C'mon man =))) the forza horizon 5 minimum is just a copy paste from 4, i knew that will work but i didn't knew if i could play it on the max settings

Try to play FH4 with max settings and if you get +80fps you can play FH5 with 60fps on same settings.

(normally its 90 -> 60 fps, but with the new DLSS (on your RTX 2060) its more like 80 -> 60)

I'd say you'll be fine, its still a 360 game at heart using sprites and efferent graphics tweaks. Look close and Forza actually looks quite :shit: and this will be no different. From my xp all Forzas run pretty due to being made for console, not so much FH3 but for other reasons.

Your GPU outdoes the console the game is designed to work on, your CPU has way many cores at a much higher clock.

Screenshots show the games not too different, so you'll be fine at 1080p on High.

And you kidding me right now? No, Forza is NOT a Xbox 360 game at heart.

What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Ever tried playing the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2? The version on Xbox One is almost an completely different game.

Forza got an completely new engine for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One, and has evolved from that game.

FH4 has very little in common with the first two games. FH5 was made for the next gen consoles and then a different version will be on Xbox One, just like what happened for Horizon 2 when it dropped on Xbox 360.

With your spec you should be able to run it but don't count on good performance. It's a heavily GPU dependant game. Recommended GPU is a 3060 Ti as indicated below.

Forza Horizon 5 Recommended System Requirements
CPU : Intel Core i7-5820K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RAM : 16 GB RAM
GPU / Video Card : GeForce RTX 3060 Ti / Radeon RX 6700 XT
Storage : 80 GB SSD space
Operating System : Windows 10 version 15063.0 or later (64-bit)

Yes thats right, FH5 IS NOT a Xbox 360 Game! Its just for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X! And all Xbox One Versions are a bit downgraded to PC and Xbox Series (S / X), because of the already heavely lower power.

Judging by the recommended specs, I'm gonna have to wait and see the performance tests on Youtube first before making a purchase

No no no. They got it all wrong. The store page already gives the recommended specs.

Recommended:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

I have both! I can run FH5 MAX SETTINGS!! :happymeat:

You'll be able to play with up to 60fps constantly at 1440p most likely. With about medium to high, possibly ultra settings.

That's highly speclative considering the recommended spec hasn't been released yet.

This game will be more demanding than Forza Horizon 4 as it was developed for the next gen Xbox Series X, which has a more powerful GPU than a 2060.

This is just wrong on so many levels

How is it wrong on some many levels? Did you bother to watch the showcase event?
The game was literally developed with Xbox Series X in mind, that''s why all the footage released so far has been from the Xbox Series X version. Xbox Series X GPU is comparable with an RTX 2080.

It's not the same as Horizon 4 as that was developed for the Xbox One.
