Some of the later enemies in Tower mode are brutal on stages 9 and 10.

Even with a maxed out level 20 Healer / Warrior combo, with two eyeballs (for reduced card cost) three daggers (+3 attack each) and several other boosts, as well as being able to move all my AP to the Warrior and give him a 25% attack boost, AND using the warriors "attack all enemies for 26x AP" with 10 AP for 260 damage, are all but impossible to defeat.

What's more, not only do they spawn with a ridiculous 380 HP, they attacked my characters for 300 damage IN ONE HIT.

In short, maxed characters with all recommended buffs, items and ideal card play couldn't beat dungeon 9 boss on floor 7. I couldn't wipe them out before they attacked even with the highest damage output, and they wiped me out with an attack that does more damage than my characters HP pool. The fact they did it two turns in a row meant that even my auto protect ring was useless.

That needs some serious balancing, because that's beyond difficult - it's just unfun.

After another run, I got to the boss on level 8 of 8 in tower 10, and one of the creatures had over 600 HP. 600! I'm not playing this again until it gets seriously nerfed. If beating this final achievement is purely luck and RNG based after all the hard work leveling up the characters and getting the recommended upgrades and cards, I'm out. Just done.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Have you tried using an infinite draw deck? Enemies can't attack if you don't let them have a turn.
